The King Naga is from the Southeast India and Bangladesh region. The King Naga chile plant is the largest of the Naga family. Some Bhut Jolokia
pods may get longer but are not as wide or heavy in weight. It's heat and flavor are similar to the Naga Morich. Average
heat between 700,000-800,000 Scoville units. It is a heavy producer of peppers.
As with the Black Naga it has not been grown
out for many years so stability is not certain. Sometimes you will get Black Naga pods. But in any case a variety worth growing.
At Refining Fire Chiles we isolate our seed production plants to avoid
cross-pollination with other chile species. If you want to try it yourself contact us for seeds, plants (March-August) and fresh chiles (September).
We also grow the Trinidad 7 Pot, Trinidad Scorpion, Bhut Jolokia, Chocolate Habanero and many other Hot Chile Pepper plant
